Paul has been coaching for 36 years. Was elected to the Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame in 2016. His record coaching high school Volleyball is 821-240, Tennessee coach of the Year 1998, 2000, 2003, 2007. His High School Team has been Nationally Ranked and he was Southern Coach of the year 2007 and 2008. He played volleyball while at University of Tennessee at Knoxville and continue to play after graduation. I have played USA volleyball since 1987 and have played in 8 US Open’s. My Team has finished 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 12th in the US Open. He was a 1st Team USA All-American.
He has been coaching high school volleyball since 1983. Because of TSSAA rules he wasn’t a head coach until 1993 at GPS. While at GPS, they won the state Championship in 2000, 2007, 2008, and runner-up in 03 and 05. He has helped coach at South Young HS, Seymour-HS, Notre Dame, CCS, Red Bank, East Ridge, Ooltewah, Soddy-Daisy, NW Whitfield, Ridgeland, Cookeville, Bradley, Lee University, and at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
He first coached Club volleyball for Chattanooga Volleyball Club 1986 (CVC), then with Scenic City VBC. He started and was the first club director for Dig To Win in Chattanooga, started Choo-Choo City volleyball club and was club director for 12 years. He has coached every age groups at all levels. He has been CAP II certified since 2001 and is Impact certified as well.
Sarah and Barry Stutheit
Barry played men’s club volleyball at Lee University for two years, followed by two years as the setter for Missouri Valley College. His wife, Sarah, played four years as a defensive specialist/libero at Lee University. This is her sixth year coaching club and her third year as head coach at Chattanooga Christian School.
Silvia Satori and Claire McMasters
Claire has been playing volleyball for 3 years at Lee University at a right hitter. Silvia has been part of the Lee volleyball team for the past 5 years as an outside hitter.
